Με μια ανάρτηση στο προσωπικό του προφίλ στο Instagram, ο 52χρονος ηθοποιός έκανε μια συγκινητική εξομολόγηση. "Η καρδιά μου έχει σπάσει σε εκατομμύρια κομμάτια. Η πανέμορφη, αγαπημένη μου αδερφή έκανε τη μετάβαση και λέω μετάβαση γιατί θα είναι πάντα ζωντανή. Όποιος τη γνώριζε ήξερε ότι ήταν ένα λαμπρό φως. Άφησες ένα κενό στην καρδιά μου, αλλά πάντα θα το γεμίζω με όλες τις αναμνήσεις που μου χάρισες. Η οικογένειά μας είναι καταρρακωμένη αλλά θα μαζέψουμε τα κομμάτια μας με την αγάπη σου", ήταν μερικά μόνο από τα λόγια του.

Η Deondra Dixon είχε σύνδρομο Down και ήταν πρέσβειρα καλής θέλησης για το Global Down Syndrome Foundation.

My heart is shattered into a million pieces... my beautiful loving sister Deondra has transitioned... I say transitioned because she will always be alive... anyone who knew my sis... knew that she was a bright light... I love you with every ounce of me... our family is shattered but we will put the pieces back together with your love... and y’all please keep my family in your prayers... 💔💔💔
